It can be treated to be fingerprint-resistant and sweat-resistant. It is commonly used for appliance casings and chassis panels where appearance is critical. Its drawbacks include a thinner coating and lower corrosion resistance compared to hot-dip galvanized steel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hot-dip galvanized steel sheet (SGCC):<\/strong><br \/>\nProduced by immersing the steel sheet in molten zinc, resulting in a thicker zinc layer. It offers far superior rust prevention, scratch resistance, and environmental corrosion resistance compared to electric galvanized steel. Available in regular spangle, minimized spangle, and zero-spangle finishes; generally, a thicker zinc layer and smaller spangles indicate higher quality. It is widely used in structural applications, outdoor components, and load-bearing parts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alloyed hot-dip galvanized steel sheet (GA):<\/strong><br \/>\nSubjected to heat treatment after hot-dip galvanizing to form a zinc-iron alloy coating. It offers excellent paint adhesion and weld ability, making it ideal for automotive body panels and structural parts requiring deep drawing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alu-zinc coated steel sheet (SGLD):<\/strong><br \/>\nFeatures an aluminum-zinc alloy coating that offers corrosion resistance 2 to 6 times greater than standard hot-dip galvanized steel.
