Cement Board is a dense, high-strength, asbestos-free fiber cement panel designed for demanding construction. Its cement-based composition, reinforced fibers, and cured structure provide strong impact resistance, weather resistance, dimensional stability, and Class A non-combustible performance. Available in standard 1200 × 2400 mm and 1220 × 2440 mm sizes with thicknesses from 4–30 mm, it suits exterior walls, floors, mezzanines, wet areas, and other high-load applications.
Cement board (fiber cement board) is a dense, high-strength flat building board made with cement as the main binder, reinforced with asbestos-free fibers (cellulose, synthetic or mineral), optionally with silica/calcium materials replacing part of the cement. It is formed by sheet-making or molding, then cured by natural, steam, or autoclaved hydration to produce a compact, weather-resistant panel.
With a characteristic dark gray, textured surface, cement board is heavier and stronger than most ceiling boards, making it the standard choice for exterior cladding, flooring, wet areas, and high-load or outdoor construction.
